Hatboro Storm updates
Hello Team! Thanks to all swimmers and parents for another great meet on Saturday. The results are posted on the website under the meets and events heading. Results will usually be posted the day after a meet. Here are a few other updates and reminders for the very busy upcoming week.
1. No practice on July 4th! Have a fun and safe holiday!!
2. Away meet at Glenside on Saturday. I will send more details later in the week, but please remember to RSVP by Thursday night for your swimmer. We also have MANY open volunteer shifts for this meet.
3. Car Wash - I still have a few families who did not receive their tickets. I will look for you at practice today or I will be giving them to your teens. The car wash is Sunday, July 8th from 8:00-11:00am at the pool. Please RSVP on the website. You do not need to stay the whole 3 hours, but we would like an estimate to how many are coming. Also, please bring donations of old towels for drying off cars and bring extra buckets and sponges. For our new families, Tim Enge will be directing the car wash with a whistle and cones to make sure our kids are staying safe. They will move to the grassy area, before the cars are directed to move on. The HPPA will provide snacks and water. Thanks to Tim Enge for coordinating the car wash!
4. Italian Pasta Night - This event is Sunday, July 8th from 5:30 -8:30pm. Please come for a fun night of food, friends and of course swimming! There is a sign-up poster in the pool entrance to let us know what you will bringing to share - an entree (pasta dish, meatballs, etc.), side dish , bread, or dessert. We will supply the plates and utensils. Also, families should bring their own drinks. Thanks to Carolyn Kushner for coordinating this event!
5. Family Boxes - There are two black file boxes with a folder for each family that will be put outside at every practice. Please check these regularly. Currently there is paperwork for our picture day on July,11th. Also, look for Personal Best ribbons after meets to award our swimmers for improving their times.
GO STORM!
