Hi Storm Families,

I hope all of you are enjoying the weeks of August (despite the intense heat)!  Thanks for all of the food prepared for our swimmers for the team party.  It was great that the rain held off!  A special thanks to Andrea Settelen for being the coordinator that evening.

Here is an upcoming event: 

• Wednesday, August 24th Movie and float night at the pool.  8:00PM arrival and 8:30PM movie begins. Snacks will be for sale!

• The movie will be Zootopia. 

• Only small round floats are permitted and only in certain designated sections of the pool. 

• The pool staff would appreciate a school supply donation to help out those in need from pool members.

• Any non-members must pay $5.00.

Also: Our Liberty League had a meeting on Aug. 3rd.  At that meeting it was decided that there will be another event slated for A CHAMPS.  It will be a co-ed event for 6 and under freestyle relay (top 2 girls and top 2 boys for freestyle times will be eligible to compete for each team at A CHAMPS.

We need volunteers to step up to fulfill two key roles for the Liberty League: President and Treasurer.  We have been lucky to have had two dedicated and supportive individuals that worked with our team directly in the past fulfill these positions for many years now.  Please consider this since it would greatly help!
